I'm going to assume you have the standard or step bumper on your 1990 Chevy C10 Single Cab, and the hitch I recommend for your truck is an option from Draw-Tite:
- Draw-Tite Max-E-Loader Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41524
I like the # 41524 the most for your '90 Chevy C10 because unlike most hitches for your Single Cab it does not require any drilling into the frame to install. It also has a solid 6,000 lb towing and 600 lb tongue weight capacity but that jumps to 10,000 lbs towing and 1,000 lbs tongue weight capacity when used with weight distribution.
And lastly, it also has a very handy tab that allows you to easily mount a trailer wiring harness like the 4-Way Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C55315 with Bracket # 18144.
