Updated 09/12/2022 | Published 09/10/2022 >
Question:
lighting plug works fine with key in run position, however when I start the motor running lights and brake lights work fine, signal left or right alone works fine, but either signal seems weak when I press the brake pedal. Any suggestions ?

Whenever there are issues like this it's always best to check your wiring connections and your grounds. Be sure the connections for the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56380 for your 2015 Volkswagen Beetle are clean and free of any debris or corrosion and then make sure all of your trailer connectors are the same. Also check to make sure your grounds are secured to a clean, bare-metal surface for best connection.
If you're still having issues after this let me know and I can help you troubleshoot further. I'm also linking our troubleshooting article for you to reference.
