In order to install a seven way trailer connector and brake controller on a 2006 Kia Sorento you'll need to start with the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # C55550. This can then be converted to a seven way using the 4 to 7-Way with 4-Way Trailer Connector Adapter part # ETBC7 which also has everything you need to install an electric trailer brake controller like the Curt TriFlex Trailer Brake Controller part # C24VV.
