Helpful Expert Reply:
A trailer hitch receiver for your 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport like the # e79YR has a tongue weight capacity of 525 lbs. From what I have found, the EZ GO scooter weighs approximately 100 lbs, although I'm not sure what model you will have. You will also need to factor in the weight of the carrier for the scooter. The hitch itself can definitely handle the weight of the two combined.
However, you will need to make sure you do not exceed the tongue weight capacity of your vehicle. I recommend checking your owner's manual for this information. As long as the combined weight of the scooter and carrier do not exceed the tongue weight capacity of your vehicle or the hitch, you will be able to carry your EZ GO scooter.
