Where Should The Foam Covers Be Placed On The Camco RV Heated Drinking Water Hose
Updated 08/29/2022 | Published 08/26/2022 >
Question:
I just recieved my Camco RV Heated Drinking Water Hose for Cold Weather - 5/8inch Internal Diameter - 12foot Long Item # CAM22900 from you. It is rated to -40F. I noticed that this version does not have a hanging thermostat like the -20F version did. So I assume it is inside the rubber wrapping at the end, opposite the plug end. The box includes two pipe noodles that I assume is to push up over any connection fitting like a pressure regulator. Question: Since the thermostat is under the rubber wrapping at the end of the hose, you would not want the pipe noodle to go over any part of that thicker end or it may prevent the thermostat from switching on at the appropriate temperature. Is that correct?

I went out to the warehouse and checked the Camco RV Heated Drinking Water Hose for Cold Weather - 5/8" Internal Diameter # CAM22900 and Camco has the "pool noodle" covers over the rubber wrapping so you can place them over the rubber to provide a bit of extra protection from things running over the hose or if it gets dropped.
