The Valterra Deadbolt Lock for RVs # L32CS3108 will work for your 1977 Argosy Trailer as long as your door is 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick and has 2-3/8" from the center of the face hole to the leading edge of your door.
Unfortunately there is not a database or anything that provides us with these measurements, so you will need to take these measurements to verify fitment.
