Question:

I have a 2022 Ford F-350 that came with the factory installed 5th wheel ball. It is a top of the ball removal type. Similar to the Reese Elite Series Pop-In Ball Kit for Ford Super Duty. What Im looking for is a Offset that so I have more space between the cab and the trailer. I see 4 and 5 offsets but not with the Pop-In type. Is there one?

I have a solution for you but they do not offer an offset gooseneck ball that will drop into the center hole on a factory in bed hitch. This is due to the locking system on all the in bed hitches not being strong enough to prevent the offset ball from turning in the hitch.

The Curt Adapter Rails item # C88KR will allow you to use the Curt Above-Bed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch item # 16055 with your Ford puck system. This will give you a gooseneck ball that is 3" offset to the rear of the vehicle. This will raise your ball gooseneck ball as well as moving it towards the rear of your F-350.

The Reese Elite Series Pop-In Ball Kit item # RP30137 you were looking at, has a locking system for the factory hitch that is held in place by a ball bearing. This system is not sufficient enough to keep the gooseball from rotating which is why you can not purchase an offset ball for the OEM puck systems for any of the makes.
