Troubleshooting A Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System That Only Activates With Manual Override

Blue ox brake only works manually onremote

If the brakes are only being depressed in your towed vehicle when using the manual override button then the internal inertia sensor of your Blue Ox Patriot Portable Braking System # BLU37TR must not be properly activating.
I recommend pulling the power from the unit for awhile to let it fully power down. You can then press the Set-Up button to get the system properly set to your vehicle and then perform a test to see if the unit is properly working again. If not then you'll need to contact Blue Ox as the inertia sensor isn't something that we carry.
