While we have the perfect ladder rack solution for you, I confirmed with TruXedo that the TruXedo Elevate # TX96NV does not fit with your Line-X hard folding tonneau cover on your 2018 Ford F-150 (5-1/2 ft. bed). This is because the Elevate is only designed to work with specific models of BAK, Extang, Retrax, and TruXedo tonneau covers.

With that being said, I recommend using the Adarac Pro Series Ladder Rack # A86RR (matte black) or # A4000964 (silver). With the Pro Series, the rack installs directly into your truck's open stake pockets without any additional clamps that obstruct your Line-X cover. Also, the uprights stand straight up in order to avoid any interference with the panels of your cover. This is important because most ladder racks have bases that angle inwards toward the truck and can rub/connect with the cover. The crossbars are fully adjustable anywhere along the rails for more cargo control. I went ahead and attached a video of the # A86RR installed on a 2014 Ford F-150 to provide you with perspective.

Additionally, you can add great options like the eye bolt tie-downs # A4000882 and the adjustable load stops # A4000880. For straps to secure your cargo, I suggest the Erickson # EM34409.
