Question:
I have been looking for two years to find the parts to install one of these in my Mercedes. I have been using the P3 since 2009 in three different Ridgelines. What do I need in the way of a wiring harness to mount a Tekonsha P3 in my 2016 Mercedes GLE 350? I have the M-B class II hitch factory installed. I am ready to order.

When it comes to installing a brake controller on your 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE if you have the factory tow package already installed in your vehicle then you will only need the following items:
Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional # 90195
Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers # 3066-P
The proportional brake controller automatically levels when mounted within a 360-degree vertical range, it also includes a customizable LCD display, has 5 storable settings that let you customize the controller for multiple trailers, varying loads, or different drivers, has 3 boost levels, has battery protection and continuous diagnostics, and is transferable between automobiles.
The harness plugs into the back of the controller and the custom connector end plugs into the built-in port beneath the dash of your vehicle.
I attached an installation video link below.
