How to Tell the Weight Capacity of the Gladiator Waterproof Cargo Net # GC97FR
Updated 06/16/2022 | Published 06/15/2022 >
Question:
I see four different capacities listed....which is confusing. Whats the actual capacity of the net? Will it prevent heavier items from flying out of the bed when off-road?

Expert Reply:
The working load limit (WLL) is the safe weight capacity limit rating of the strap. The cargo net # GC97FR itself has a 700 pound WLL while the cam buckles have a 1,323 pound WLL. Break strength, on the other hand, is the maximum weight an object can hold until it actually breaks. For the net, that limit is 2,100 pounds and for the cam buckles it is 3,969 pounds. You should always abide by the WLL when trying to determine what capacity you need.
