Question:
To Anyone: Im considering purchasing a trailer and hitch for a 2007 Honda Accord w/a 2.4 L V4 for camping. Having problems finding consistent info. What is the max towing capacity and weight tongue and gross of a trailer? Thank you.

Expert Reply:
The towing capacity for a 2007 Honda Accord is 1,000 lbs. The hitches that fit your vehicle like the Curt # C11290 are independently rated from the vehicle which is why they have higher capacities. This hitch is rated for 2,000 lb trailer weight but since you are only as strong as your weakest component you'd be limited to 1,000 lb.
