Question:
Hello, I just got a 2019 Chevy Volt Premier and am looking at hitch options mostly to use for a bike rack. I like the design of the EcoHitch Invisi, but dont understand how you are supposed to show your plates with it in use and stay road legal. Also looking at the other two options, the Draw Tite and Curt ones. Could you tell me how much each of these and the EcoHitch Invisi weighs? Love your service, used you guys for a few other vehicles in the past! Thanks for the help!

The EcoHitch # 306-X7338 weighs 37 lbs, Curt # C11436 weighs 26 lbs, and the Draw-Tite # 24947 weighs 21 lbs. The EcoHitch Invisi Trailer Hitch Receiver uses a flip-up license plate kit since the hitch installs behind your license plate. This does mean that you will not have a visible rear license plate with your bike rack installed.
Typically your license plate would be obscured with the bike rack on the back regardless of the hitch. If you're worried about the legality of the plate not being visible, and don't mind modifying your bike rack, you could add something like the Trailer License Plate Mount Bracket, Angled, Rust Proof Polymer - Black # LP10SB.
If this is not something you are willing to do, and you don't mind the 1-1/4" receiver, then I would choose the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24947. This has a concealed cross tube but the receiver will be visible below the rear bumper.
I have attached some installation videos for your reference.
