Can Tailgate on 2013 Ford F-150 Open and Close with Truxedo Tonneau Cover Installed

Question:
i have a 2013 f-150 5 1/2 ft. bed do you have to undo the cover at the tailgate to close the tailgate or can the cover be lock to open or the tailgate.

You do not have to open or roll up the Truxedo tonneau cover # TX297601 in order to open or close the tail gate on your 2013 Ford F-150. You can keep the tonneau cover closed and still open/close the tail gate. The tail gate would have to be open to open the tonneau cover. If you want the cargo to remain secure you would keep the cover closed and then close and lock the tail gate. I have included a link to the installation details for you.
