Replacing Furrion DV1200 with Furrion RV Stereo DV1230BL

Question:

The LED on the DV1200 died due to a few power outages, and reset does not restore anymore. Is the Furrion DV1230 BL a good replacement option? Is the wiring harness plugin the same, and plug-and-play? On the DV 1200 I hooked my sub-woofer into the green wire so named in the wire harness package and works well. Does the DV 1230BL have the same option to use the same wire, or do I need to use the sub-woofer plug out at the back of the DV 1230BL? Size of cutout the same or do I need to modify? Thanks

The Furrion RV Stereo, # DV1230BL is a good option as a replacement for your current DV1200 and a rather straight forward installation. It is not however a direct plug-in installation. This has a subwoofer terminal and will fit in a cut out that is 5-1/2 inches deep, 6-15/16 inches wide, and 4 inches tall, and overall the face measures 9-13/16 inches wide and 4-11/16 inches tall.
