Reese Goose Box For a 2021 Alliance Valor 40/13 5TH Wheel Toy Hauler

Hello, I am trying to find out what hitch Reese 20K Goose Box I need to purchase? I have a 2021 Aliance Valor 40/13 trailer and am towing it with a 2019 Ram 5500 cab and chassis that has a CM flatbed on it. Is there different height set ups for the hitch? Do I need to know what the height of the ball is on the flatbed to figure out the right hitch I need? Any information would be great to assist in picking the right hitch set up. Or is it one size fits all? Thanks

Your 2021 Alliance Valor 40/13 Toy hauler appears to have a 1621 style pin box. You can verify this by measuring the bolt pattern on your pin box or you can provide me with the Lippert frame tag I can verify with Lippert. Your Pin box should have a horizontal separation of 7-7/8" on center and 2" vertically on center. The box will also be 12" wide.

If this matches your bolt pattern the Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter # RP85FR is the one you need. As there are multiple bolt holes to fit your pattern you will be able to level the pin box to your 2019 Ram 5500 with the CM flatbed. You can also look at using a 1" High-Rise Ball # BWGNXA2050 in your flatbed to raise the connection point if it sits to low in a recess cutout.

Do be sure to get the Reese Safety Chain Kit # RP49151 as safety chains are required with any ball mounted trailer.
