Will the Thule Motion XT XL Fit a 2017 Lexus RX 350 w/ Factory Crossbars?

Hello - I am about to purchase the Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box for my 2017 Lexus RX 350 with a sunroof. Will this model work with the OEM bars? Also, will the 18 cu ft model fit okay with room for the rear lift gate to open? Thanks!

Yes, the Thule Motion XT XL - 18 cu. Feet item # TH629806 and the Thule Motion XT 16 cu ft item # TH629706 will both be able to clamp onto your factor crossbars on your 2017 Lexus RX 350. To determine if you will be able to mount the Motion on your roof and still fully open the rear hatch on your Lexus you are going to need to take a measurement. You will want to move your front cross bar all the way forward if it is adjustable. Then measure rearward until you reach the seam between the rear hatch and the roof. If you have a minimum of 51-1/4" then the Thule Motion XT XL - 18 cu. Feet item # TH629806 will work. You will only need to have 47-1/2" for the Thule Motion XT 16 cu ft item # TH629706 to fit and allow your lift gate to fully function.
