Adjustable Ball Mount for 2013 Mercedes Sprinter that Has Longer Length
Published 03/31/2022 >
Question:
I have a 2013 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 with the rear step bumper. Your awesome customer service helped me before finding the right trailer hitch to work with the step bumper. My new question is which product should I buy to extend the hitch as I can’t fit my the one I currently have because of the bumper. I am towing a 10ft long single axel trailer no more that 6000 pounds and I would like something that would extend far enough out that gives me a little more room for tight turns but doesn’t compromise the tow weight. Don’t want to spend to much, but any suggestions would be great. Thank you for your help really love this company.

The Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount for 2" Trailer Hitches # D900 that you referenced would be a great solution for what you are looking for. This is a longer ball mount as it has 15 inches from the center of it's hitch pin hole to the center of the hitch ball and would not limit weight capacity like a hitch extender would. It is also adjustable in height and has all three hitch ball sizes.
