Can You Dim The Light On The Portable Power Watchdog Surge Protector

Question:

I hear that the dog light is really bright and advertises you have an expensive surge protector out on the pedestal. I also heard there may be a fix for the bright light? I guess it could be duct taped :- Is this still an issue? Thanks

Yes the light on the face of the surge protector can be considered very bright to some users.

I have a solution for you. Some users have simply taped over it or wrapped some kind of cover over it. There is an option if you don't want to do that though. Hughes Autoformer makes a light dimmer screen cover for these units. We do not carry them however and you will need to source one from them.
