Question:
Do these kits offer a way to be combined with a Tow behind kit? In this example I want to be able have the nice plug in connectors of this kit that can feed a 4 flat that goes to a small trailer, or when the vehicle is being towed behind a motorhome, I can plug in either in a sperate connector at the front of the car or reverse feed through the rear 4 flat connector in this kit to make the car tail lights work with the motorhome. I am looking to avoid splicing into the factory wiring.

You will need to use a separate Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154 that will be separate from Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56093 on your 2017 Ford Taurus. The diode kit will only tie into the individual brake lights and running lights on the rear of your Taurus. The diodes will prevent any back feed from the vehicle to the towed vehicle. I have linked an installation video for the diodes on an older 2008 Taurus that will help you see how the diodes are wired in. The diodes will go into the harness before the Curt harness.
Since the Curt Harness # C56093 only ties into the turn signal on the passenger side there is no way to incorporate the diodes into this harness for the passenger side tail lights.
