Can I Used My Crossbar System When Using an Automatic Car Wash?

Question:
I just bought and installed the RRVA118B rhino rack vortex crossbars on my 2015 Mazda CX-5 at fixed points on the vehicle with RRRLKVA legs and DK289. Does the rack really need to be removed before going through an automatic car wash?

Thank you so much for your purchase with us!
Generally, we recommend removing any roof rack from the vehicle when entering an automatic car wash. This is because any damage that results is not typically covered by the roof rack manufacturer, your vehicle's manufacturer, or the operator of the car wash. This is our recommendation for roof rack systems that involve door jamb clips.
However, since you you are using your fixed mounting points, you should be all right if you are using a touch-free car wash. Although, if you are using a soft-touch car wash, I recommend removing the rack completely.
