Question:

Hello, We nave a 2001 Montana 3255 rl. The arms of the current awning are 191inch apart. How wide are the arms on this awning? I think it should fit our camper as there is room on the outside of both arms. Is there a way to know for sure if it will fit before we order it? How easy/hard is the installation? Is there an installation video available?Thanks.

The Solera 18V Power RV Awning # LC730523 you mention, is 19'1" wide, or 229". This awning would be considered too large of a replacement for your 2001 Montana 3255RL.

Instead, I recommend going with the:

-Solera 12V XL Power RV Awning # LCV000334998-362241.

This awning is 16'1" wide, or 192", which is a much better suited replacement.

If you did want to use # LC730523 instead, you will need to verify fitment by measuring the entire width from flange to flange of your slide out. If you do not have at least 7" on either side of the slide out, then you'd need to order the next size down.
