Question:
I have a 2022 Kia Telluride and am interested in the Thule roof rack. I have seen the recommendations on this site however I want to get the lowest profile and the shortest crossbar possible. The site recommends a 53 inch but that does have several inches of overhang. Would a 50 inch also work?

You can sometimes go larger with the Thule crossbars but rarely can you actually go smaller and that's due to the limited amount of spacing the channels on the underside of the crossbars have to offer. For your application I recommend installing the Thule WingBar Flush Rail system on your 2022 Kia Telluride with the flush rails. Here are the parts you'll need:
Thule WingBar Edge Crossbars - 37-1/2" # TH26SC and 41" # TH86SC
Edge Flush Rail Feet - # TH89SC
Fit Kit - # TH77JV
Lock Core Kit - # TH450400 (optional)
This roof rack uses crossbars that end in the feet so it will be a low profile application that doesn't stick out past the flush rails on your roof.
