Hi, dealer says i need some modules and harness to tow anything. Are you familiar with any modules or complete parts list needed? Thanks

The # SH64MR Stealth Hitch you'd looked at is a fit for your 2020 BMW X5 if it's an M Performance model. If you have the M Sport model, you'd want to use # SH89VR instead. The receiver included with either hitch is designed for carrying hitch mounted accessories only, and isn't designed to tow a trailer.
To tow a trailer, you'll need the # SH58VR towing kit which includes the ball mount and the trailer wiring harness assembly. The towing kit is compatible with all models of the 2020 BMW X5 and will work with both hitch models mentioned above. The kit includes everything necessary to install the wiring.
