Question:

I have a 2020 Ford Transit and I cant find any brake controller factory plug on my van. I dont think it has one. I need a brake controller. Why couldnt I just tap into the brake light switch and use that as a input to a aftermarket controller?

There are no plug in adapters for the 2020 Ford Transit T250 so you will either have to tap into your van's wiring harness or use a wireless brake controller like the Curt Echo item # C51180.
