Recommended Tuner For A 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 W/ 5.3L Engine

Question:
What tuner is the best for my 17 silverado 5.3 with 8 speed? I want smoother shifts and is there a tuner that has tow mode with 87 octane?

You will be able to use 87 octane with all of our performance tuners that are compatible with your 2017 Chevrolet Silverado, but not with all of the tunes they offer. If you are towing a light trailer, you can go with Chevrolet's recommended fuel. A tune that requires more power, i.e. heavy towing mode, will need 91 octane. The Superchips Flashpaq F5 Performance Tuner - GM - Gas, part # SU2847, is an excellent option. Please keep in mind you will need to return your vehicle to the factory settings when taking it to the dealer or emissions testing.
