Question:

We purchased a replacement furrion fireplace haven only turned it on the one time to make sure it worked. We purchased this one because our original one did the same thing. Now the replacement we went to turn in and it is Don mg the same thing. Power is getting to the outlet is there someone we can do to get this to work again? We have tried unplugging it for several hours just in case then plugging it into an outlet that we know is working and we still can’t get it to turn on.

Since you've already replaced the factory fireplace with the Furrion RV Electric Fireplace with Crystals # FF30SC15ABL and are still facing the same exact issue it leads me to believe the issue is with the outlet/wiring. You could be getting enough power for other items to turn on but fall just below the requirements for the fireplace. Often times manufacturers do not use the correct gauge wire to properly transfer power from the source to the outlet, which can cause a voltage drop.

To check this you'll need a digital multimeter like the # PT89ZR. Once you have one you can test the outlet's voltage. This fireplace requires 120v AC to properly operate. If you're not receiving 120 then you need to increase the gauge of wire used from the power source to the outlet.

If your voltage level at the outlet is fine then please reply back and we can keep troubleshooting.
