Locating Lippert Pin Box Number on a 2003 Montana Mountaineer in order to Choose a Sidewinder

Question:

Im having trouble determining which model sidewinder will fit the Lippert pin box on my 2003 Montana Mountaineer.I have been unable to locate the pin box model number.

I spoke with my contact at Keystone, the manufacturer of the Montana Mountaineer trailers. Your pin box will have the model number stamped in the face of the pin box somewhere. It will not be on a tag or referenced as model number. You definitely want to be sure that you have the correct model number before you order.

From the information I received your pin box can be one of two models (the possibility still exists that a different pin box could have been used). If you have a smaller floor plan then your pin box may be the Lippert model number 1716, and if you have a larger floor plan the pin box may be the Lippert model 1116.

There are 7 different models of Lippert pin boxes, not in any specific order, 0516, 0719, 1116, 0115, 1621, 1621HD, and 1716.
