Where Does Breakaway Pin of Blue Ox Patriot Normally Attach on Vehicle
Question:
On my 2017 Forester, I am looking at where to install the brake-away switch on the front. I have the Blue Ox base plate installed. I see a picture of it installed on a Forester with a Roadmaster face plate, looks like it was screwed into the fascia. Is that what you recommend?

Yes, screwing in the breakaway pin of the Blue Ox Patriot part # BLU37TR to the front fascia would be your best option.
