Question:
I am purchasing a 2022 Coachmen Galleria. It comes with the smart plug 30’ cord. What plug do I need at my home to connect 30 AMP shore power?

Expert Reply:
To plug your SmartPlug RV Power Cord and Stainless Steel Inlet # SM39FR into your home you can either install a 30amp outlet which would have slanted prong receptacles like the plug pictured below or you can use the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter # A10-1530HVP to plug into your standard outlet.
This adapter isn't going to give you full power for your RV since you'd be pulling from a 15amp source. If you're wanting to receive 30amps you'll have to install a 30amp outlet, which can be purchased at your local hardware store.
