i measured the wideth of my slide from side to side it measures 13 ft 1 inch how long of an awning do i need

Your awning should extend a minimum of 2-1/2" beyond each side of the box width. Your box width is 157". The Solera RV Slide-Out Awning - 13'7" Wide - 48" Projection - Black, part # LCV000168110, would be a good fit.
