Can The Switch For The Motorized EZ Tank Valve Be Mounted Outside The RV

Looking at a motorized EZ tank valve. Can any of them have switches that can be mounted outside?

I talked to the install gurus down at the shop.
The Valterra EZ Valve Electric Waste Valve for RV Black Water Tank - 3" Hub to 3" Spigot # E40-8 should not be mounted outside in the weather.
If you have a storage compartment close to the valve you would need to put the switch inside the compartment to prevent damage to the switch and electrical system.
