Can you wire this light to a wall switch in the bathroom and use it to control the light in place of the slide switch on the light?

Yes, you can wire the Gustafson RV Pancake Light # 277-000339 to a wall switch. You will need to leave the switch on the light in the "ON" position, and then run your power to the switch.
