Question:

I am trying to use the Draw-Tite Ball mount 40702 on my 3-inch hitch and a need a 2-5/16 inch ball. The specs for the ball mount say it has a ball hole diameter of 1-1/4". which ball fits?

For 2-5/16 inch a ball that fits the 1-1/4 inch ball hole diameter of the Draw-Tite Ball Mount # 40702, I recommend the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball - 1-1/4" Diameter x 2-5/8" Long Shank # C40085. Since this ball has a 1-1/4 inch diameter shank, it is compatible with the # 40702.

If you happen to need a hitch pin with the ball mount, the # BD580412 not only provides a snug fit, but it also has a lock for theft-deterrence.
