For those who need to protect their valuable gear like bike racks, cargo carriers, and ball mounts from theft, the Flush-Style Lock is a game-changer. Acting as a secure replacement for the standard pin and clip, it ensures your gear stays with you and not with someone else. Designed to fit hitch receivers of 2-1/2" and larger, this lock with a 5/8" pin diameter guarantees peace of mind by providing excellent security on the go.
The lock features a high-strength stainless steel construction, perfect for enduring heavy-duty use without wear and tear. It offers superior durability and maintains functionality even in adverse weather conditions, thanks to a plastic cap that shields the key slot from corrosion.
Modern trucks with larger 2-1/2" and 3" hitch receivers can now have a lock that fits just right. With an extra-long 3-1/2 inch usable span, this hitch lock perfectly secures accessories on bigger rigs like the Ford F-350, making sure your equipment stays put no matter the road conditions.
Forget about complicated operations with this lock. Its dual self-locking system requires no fiddling or hassle, providing seamless and easy-to-use security for all your towing accessories. Just insert, lock, and hit the road worry-free.
Security doesn’t have to be inconvenient. This lock comes with two high-security square keys unique to your lock, which ensures that only you have access to what matters. Keep one as a spare, and rest easy knowing you have a fail-safe to your security system.
Worried about weather-related damage? This lock has you covered with a protective plastic cap that prevents corrosion by keeping water and debris out of the key slot. It’s a small but important feature that enhances the longevity and reliability of your lock, especially crucial for those who travel all year round.

What's up everybody. It's AJ with etrailer.com Today we're checking out this locking hitch pin from Jaw Tight. Now this one is an extended one so it's a little bit longer to fit two and a half and three inch hitches. Let's check it out. You put the key in. You should turn it until the lock mechanism pops out.
Then you can separate the pin from the lock. I put the pin through our hitch and ball mount, may need to shake the ball mount a little bit just to get it through there. We'll put our lock on the other side. With the lock mechanism popped out. You can see it's farther back in there so, you know, you can just put this on there, pushing a lot and it's in place.
Looking closer at the lock. It has a smooth finish, and there's not really a grip on it but it's all right, because the lock is big enough easy to grab onto and pull off when you go to unlock it. Nice and easy to grab onto versus your standard hitch pin and clip which are a little bit smaller and harder to get in there and pull that pin out. You're going to hit your hand on the bumper or your ball mount or something like that. Or they get rusty over time and they get even harder to pull out.
This one's nice and easy. To help protect your lock from the elements. It does come with a rubber cap that you can put on there. Now, it's not attached. So you don't have to remember where this is when you have it, but at least it comes with it.
You may notice a little bit of back and forth or just a little bit of gap between the lock and the heads but that's okay because it's meant for a two and a half inch hitch and a three inch hitch. So when you do it on three inch hitch there's gonna be less of a gap, but there's not enough space for anybody getting there and do anything. It's going to be a great help to turn and keep your ball mount protected. So overall it gets the job done. It'll definitely lock our ball mount into our hitch. There's a few things that I'm not a huge fan of, the cap not being attached is kind of annoying. Cause I'm afraid I'm going to lose it. Or just going to fall off. The lock mechanism is a little iffy. You turn it. Sometimes it pops up. Sometimes it doesn't, you know, I'll turn it left or right. It looks like it's popping out now. So that part it's just iffy and then the whole lock rotates. So if it's not up against the hitch exactly, you're going to turn the lock when you're trying to get that mechanism, you're going to kind of have to hold onto that, turn it to get it to pop out. I think there's just some better hitch locks out there that have the attached dust cover and a better lock mechanism that we offer that you could probably check out. But that's going to do it for a look at the Jaw Tight hitch pin lock. Hope this helped..
