Question:
I have a Badlands 2500 lb winch that I need to install on a trailer. The trailer has a breakaway battery that is being charged when plugged into the 7-pin plug on a truck. I think i can use just about any car battery. I plan to use the winch to load snow mobiles in reverse on the trailer which weigh about 500lbs each and there are 4. It there a product that I can use that will charge both the breakaway battery on the trailer and the auto battery I use for the winch? Thanks.

A car battery or a deep cycle battery like the Bright Way part # BRW94FR would work great to power your winch.
Now to charge both batteries I would recommend the Recarc BCDC Charger part # RED96FR which can put out an optimized charge that would work well for both batteries.
