Question:

I asked about converting the jack on my 2002 Kiefer gooseneck horse trailer to electric and Jon said I need a different jack, specifically 183401. I have access to a Bulldog 182425 jack and Im wondering if that will also work?

Great question! The Bulldog Jack 182425 that you found is similar to the Bulldog 2-Speed Jack # BD183401 that I reference with the difference being that the 182425 has welded plates to the sides of the jack to bolt onto a trailer.

The 182425 will also work with the Powered-Drive Kit # BD1824180100 that I mentioned earlier so you will be able to upgrade it to an electric jack if that's still your goal.

I confirmed all of this with my contact at Bulldog.
