For your 2022 Chevy Colorado I suggest pairing the Curt Custom Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # C88FR with the Blue Ox Ascent Non-Binding Tow Bar - Motorhome Mount - 2" Hitch - 7,500 lbs # BX4370.

This comes with safety cables so you will not need to buy a set.

next I suggest getting a Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # SM99251. You will need this to be safe and legal.

You will also need to get a Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154 to sync all your lights together.
