Question:
Do youll know right off hand which wire at the brake light switch connects to the red wire on the Prodigy P2 for a 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited?

Typically, the wire coming from the brake light switch you are asking about is either brown/white striped or tan/white striped. The red wire would tap into the wire coming off the cold side of the brake light switch which is located above the brake pedal.
Due to the fact that wire color can be inconsistent between vehicles from the same model year, we recommend wiring by function and not wire color. We recommend using a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to verify you have found the correct circuit. The stop light switch might have several different wires exiting it. You will need to use the wire that only shows voltage when the brake pedal is pressed.
I have linked you to an FAQ article that contains more information about how to hardwire a brake controller.
