What Hoist do You Recommend for Raising and Lowering My Snow Plow Blade?

Question:
Hello. I am an 72 yr old women. I live alone in a mountain town. I want to be able to pull up or lower my utility sled on a sometimes icy slope. I don’t have a trailer hitch for a winch. Is there another way I can pull it up? Is there a winch that can be buried in the ground or wrapped around a tree that will enable it to pull up the sled? Thank you,

For your particular scenario, I believe you are talking about a snow plow. I recommend an electric hoist winch such as the Bulldog Winch Heavy-Duty Hoist - Synthetic Rope - Hawse Fairlead - 1,200 lbs # BDW74FR. The hoist can be mounted into a wall into your garage or any other location that can safely hold the weight of your utility sled.
