What is the Purpose and How to Install the Removable Awning Saver Door Roller

Question:

Can you tell me how, why and where to install the screen door protector disc? My screen is on the inside of my door so I’m having a hard time understanding how it helps if it is mounted on the bracket, on the outside of the door.

The Removable Awning Saver Door Roller # 3725014 is a safety precaution to help keep your door from potentially scraping against the underside of your awning. So you'll want to install it at the top of your regular door (not your screen door since it's on the inside) so that if the awning is hanging lower then the roller will raise the awning above the sharp corner of the door. For the screen door disc you will install that at the top outside corner of your screen door so that when you open it the awning will ride on the smooth washer instead of your screen door frame. Be sure you leave enough room for the doors to close properly. You will just use the included hardware for the installation.

You can then remove when when you'll be traveling to help keep road debris from damaging it.
