Question:
it shows that flat towing a Tacoma is not good for the vehicle. but etrailer sells them, my question is cn you flat tow this vehicle with out harming the trans?

Yes, the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit, # BX3795 is listed in our fit guided for the Toyota.
While per the manufacturer, you should not attempt to flat tow a Toyota Tacoma because you will damage the transmission/drivetrain, anything can be made to flat tow if you make enough changes. This is not the norm, and actually only a very small percentage of people will go to this much trouble and expense to make a vehicle such as the Toyota Tacoma able to be flat towed, but some do.
