To install the Redarc TowPro Elite # RED44FR on you 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee you'll need to first add a 4 way trailer connector, if you do not have one present. To do this, I suggest using the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118727. This is a super easy to use plug and play wiring harness that has no cutting or splicing needed to complete installation.
Next, you're going to need to add a 7 way connector to the rear of your vehicle. For this, I recommend using the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. This all in one kit will add a 7 way trailer connector to the rear of your vehicle so you can use a trailer brake controller like the Redarc TowPro Elite you reference.
From here, you can install the TowPro Elite # RED44FR. This brake controller is very popular because of its ease of installation, and, when installed, provides a very sleek clean finish that is out of the way.
