Do you know of any good 12v to 12v chargers with more output than the Tekonsha. model here? Just curious about mobile backup battery charging for use with lights, freezer etc.

I believe what you are looking for is the Redarc In-Vehicle BCDC Battery Charger # 331-BCDC1240D. This charger can be used as a DC to DC charger and can take a maximum input current of 40 amps. This charger has an output voltage of 20 volts and a maximum amperage output of 40 Amps and 600 watts.
This charger can even be used with solar panels if you did not want to keep the charger hooked to a vehicle battery.
The Tekonsha Battery Charger, # 2024-07, that you referenced is a maintenance charger, but the D250S charger will not only maintain a charge on a battery, but it will also charge your battery.
