Options for Controlling Trailer Electric Brakes with Tow Vehicle Air Over Hydraulic Brakes
Published 12/02/2021 >
Question:
I saw some recommendations and a tutorial on your website for installing a trailer brake controller for a trailer with a 7-way plug and truck with air brakes. I have a truck 2008 Ford F650 with air over hydraulic brakes. Would this be the same as air brakes? Would you recommend the same procedures and products #90885?

Best solution for towing a trailer with air over hydraulic brakes is to just use an electronic trailer brake controller like the Prodigy p2 part # 90885.
Air brakes and air over hydraulic brake systems are not the same.
