It looks like you have really done your research on this, great job! For a hitch you are correct, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13220 is a confirmed fit for your 2015 Audi Q7. This Class III hitch has a 2" receiver and a concealed cross tube to help maintain a factory look. It has a maximum gross trailer weight of 6,000 lbs and tongue weight of 600 lbs. Make sure to consult your owner's manual for the towing capacity of your vehicle as well, you will be limited by whichever is lower.
For wiring, the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT is a great choice if you would like to avoid any cutting or splicing. The zero-contact interface sensors clamp on and detect the current flowing through.
Once again you were right on since the next step would be installing the Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7. This kit comes with the adapter, wiring, and everything else you need to upgrade your 4-way to a 7-way connection. The adapter has both connections on it so you will still be able to use a 4-way should you need it.
For a brake controller, check out the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR. The main unit of this proportional brake controller mounts out of sight and the control knob can mount anywhere in the dash. This allows for a nice clean look inside your vehicle. You can press on the control knob for manual override, and the colored LED offers simple diagnostics. If you have the built-in port beneath your Audi Q7's dash, you can use the # C51522 for installation. If you do not, the # RED44FR comes with a universal wiring harness.
To complete your setup you will also need a ball mount. I like the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit comes with two different ball mounts. One has a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other has a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
I have attached installation videos for the hitch, wiring, and brake controller for your reference. Although we do not have an installation video for the # ETBC7 and # RED44FR on an Audi Q7, I included one on a different vehicle so you can see what the process is like.
