How Does Solar Panel Wire Normally Run to Controller if Mounted on Roof
Published 12/01/2021 >
Question:
I have ordered a 2022 forest river xlr boost that has the go power solar prep. I’d like to install roof mounted solar and curious how easy the connection would be. I obviously don’t want a wire running down the side to the solar plug. Is there another way to connect to the already installed solar controller? Thank you

You'd have to run the wire for the solar panel like what comes with the kit part # 34280058 through the roof of the vehicle and then down to either the controller or to where the port is on the opposite side of the wall.
I attached a help article on installing solar panel kits for you to check out as well. Step 2 covers running the wires.
