I have a few tonneau cover and ladder rack combinations for your 2022 Ford Ranger with the 5' bed.

My top recommendation is the RetraxONE XR Hard Tonneau Cover # RTT-60335 and the Yakima OverHaul HD # Y01151-5855 because because it gives you the most adjustability for both products. The tonneau cover is retractable and can be locked anywhere along the rails and it also has T-Slots on the bed rails so that the ladder rack can slide back and forth. The OverHaul HD has a height adjustment which is not very common among ladder racks.

If you're looking for something a little more cost-effective then I recommend the BAK Revolver X4s # BAK69ZR and Adarac Pro Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A36ZR. This has a hard, roll-up tonneau cover that will secure your truck bed when closed and then the ladder rack is adjustable along rails, but there is no height adjustment and it uses more standard ladder rack crossbars.
