Question:

I have a 2022 Volkswagen Atlas SEL and I would like to add a hitch to it for towing. Please set me up with the appropriate hitch and everything else I will need to tow a trailer. I appreciate your guidance.

In order to tow with your 2022 Volkswagen Atlas SEL I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C24ER. This custom-fit Class III hitch has a 2" receiver and a concealed cross tube to help maintain a factory look. It features a gloss black powder coat finish and a limited lifetime warranty.

For wiring, I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118754. This plugs directly into existing wiring, giving you a 4-way connection at the back of your vehicle to power your trailer's signal lights.

If you need a ball mount, I like the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It includes a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
