As far as getting an adjustable ball mount that will give you the length you need to avoid hitting your jack with your tailgate on your 2022 Ram 1500, one crucial measurement is the length of the ball mount shank needed to clear the jack. Also, you need to know what height is required on your specific setup in order to make sure that the trailer is level in addition to the specific ball size you require for the coupler.
We do carry some great options such as the Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount for 2" Trailer Hitches # D900. The Curt Multi-Ball has a length of 15-1/4 inches from the center of the shank's pinhole to the center of the ball. It also has a maximum drop of 5-3/4 inches and a maximum rise of 4 inches (both measurements are from the top of the inside of the hitch opening). As far as ball sizes, it includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, a 2 inch ball, and a 2-5/16 inch ball.
For your required measurements and needs, feel free to respond with the length of your jack clearance needs as well as the height/ball mount sizes. I went ahead and linked a great article that walks you through how to measure your required height for level towing.
